The 31st edition of the Printemps des Arts de Monte Carlo, festival of classical and contemporary music, will be held over 4 weekends from March 20 to April 12, 2015.

Under the Presidence of HRH The Princess of Hanover, the rich program of the Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo will seduce all generations of listeners by offering a wide variety of music ranging from the 11th to the 21st century. The programming 2015 will bring together on stage more than 400 artists for 18 concerts in 11 places and will honor Bach, Sibelius and Donatoni.

World premieres

The 18 concerts in 11 places, in Monaco and in the partners cities, will offer the public to discover among the concerts three world premieres by Gérard Pesson, Gilbert Nouno and François Bayle.
Among the major artists on stage: the star soprano Soile Isokoski, the cellists Marc Coppey, Xavier Phillips and Camille Thomas, the pianist Henri Barda, the organist Bernard Foucroulle and large formations such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France.

The Musical Caravan

In January and February 2015, the Printemps des Arts de Monte Carlo organizes some concerts held in collaboration with many municipalities in the Alpes-Maritimes. From Cannes to Menton, from the coast to the hinterland, the “musical caravan” will meet the audience of the French Riviera and offer to discover, in an intimate and friendly way, the Festival universe.

Preparing for listening to the works

As a prelude to the concerts, the Printemps des Arts will host 12 conference meetings animated by musicologists who will friendly share their knowledge and passion. For budding artists, 4 free master classes will give musicians students a chance to confront the masters.

Furthermore, some “apartment concerts” will be held in private homes with young talents for intimate and exclusive evenings.

The Monaco private bank Martin Maurel Sella is the Mecene of the Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo.
