A pair of tennis shoes for the road!
Everyone knows the name of Bensimon, through its military surplus and the pair of tennis that is with us for 30 years in France but also in the world, including the United States. The Americans brought them back by the dozen in their suitcases as they would have done a contraband! But the presence of Bensimon abroad is not new.
In thirty years, the two brothers opened forty boutiques and concept stores around the world: in Belgium, Berlin, Seoul in the first quarter of 2015. Since several years, Bensimon is distributed in department stores in Asia (Japan, Korea and Taiwan), the United States in multi-brand stores and in Europe as well as online.
Travel Retail Shops
Since seven years, the brand is present in Duty Free shops at international airports in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Venice, Glasgow, Roissy, Orly, Nice… This presence, generating 25% of its business outside France, gives the brand more international exposure. In the near future, the market will represent a large potential for growth, particularly with a project to install boutiques of the brand in several international airport.

Serge Bensimon, the creative and Yves, the brand manager, have evolved over a few years from military surplus to fashion, from decoration to Art, from Art to literature, always with the the travel as conductive line and a certain idea of a lifestyle in which color, elegance and joy mingle…
The Bensimon brothers opened their first boutique in the Marais, in Paris, rue des Francs Bourgeois. Inspired by the world of travel, the brand collections become Autour du Monde (Around the World). Immediately, other shops emerge, including Home Autour du Monde, some lines of both ready-to-wear and decorative objects. The style: a mixture of genders and colors, in a casual chic and feminine spirit, which emphasizes color and beautiful fabrics. A fashion always declined with great passion for teenagers, fans of the tennis shoe, through the B.TEAM line, like a mixed cloakroom.
