Finiper Arese Unique Shopping Experience

At MAPIC 2014, Finiper introduced its project of mega shopping center in Arese, close to Milan, on the site of the former Alfa Romeo factory, near The Expo.

Set on the outskirts of Milan, the shopping center will provide the visitor with an innovative experience in the three iconic areas of excellence of the unique Italian Style: fashion, food and cars.

An already prestigious site

The group Finiper intends to invest a total of € 700 million to build in Arese, near Milan, one of the largest shopping centers in Lombardy. The structure will be built on an area 121,000 square meters on the former factory of Alfa Romeo legend cars. Another important advantage: the shopping center will be located six kilometers away from the Expo, the Universal Exhibition of 2015. A further significant advantage is the proximity to the Rho Exhibition Centre, the largest and one of the most prestigious in Europe.

Ultimate “Retailtainment”

The Architects Michele De Lucchi and Davide Padoa of Design International have designed a shopping centers with a fashion heart, a food and wine soul and the lively spirit of Mondo Motori. The fashion and food & wine will be expressed over 200 shops ad 25 food outlets through outdoor and indoor paths over two levels, characterized by streets, buildings, porches, doorways and gardens.
The architectural and urban variety will provide strolls and stops, turning them into a unique experience, for the visitor to feel at ease, but at the same time a part of something special.

Mondo Motori Active

The third soul of the project, motors, will pay tribute to a glorious past. Continue on the main structure, La Pista (the track) will span its 1, 5 km track including 17, 000 sqm of “safe driving” areas as well as play areas. Around la Pista, multipurpose buildings will host expo and museum areas, educational activities, retail services and event areas.
