Gastronoma will open its doors in Cannes from November 4 to 7, 2016, patroned by six chefs of exceptions for this fourth edition dedicated to gourmandise.
Gastronoma comes back! Notice to all foodies on the French Riviera! It will take place, as in previous editions, in the prestigious Palm Beach at Pointe Croisette, facing the Lérins Islands. For the occasion, the spaces will be transformed into the Palace of Taste and Gastronomy. All gourmets in search of fine and excellence products can find their favorite products that will be showcased on the 5,000 m2 exhibition Gastronoma will offer.
After the great success of the previous editions, the good taste graft has definitely works on the Croisette. Gastronoma, salon of gastronomy, is back stronger than ever. The enthusiasm of the visitors, the satisfaction of exhibitors, the rave reviews of the media, the partners’ nice feedback, the beautiful participation of new exhibitors of terroir products, have enabled this new autumn vintage to be born.
Always more animations
Always richer in flavor, quality and excellence, the best selections of gourmet products will delight many amateur lovers of good food. The numerous events around “la bonne chère” will be the theme of Gastronoma. The exceptional participation of prestigious chefs from across the Riviera region will offer gourmets attracted to this show full of gourmande symphonies, workshops, cooking demonstrations. The public will then discover knacks, masters’ tricks and small well-kept secrets. To continue the celebration of good food late into the night, a ten-hand gala dinner will allow them to taste the favorite recipes of chefs patronizing the event.
Five chefs will preside over the festivities
This new edition will be held under the leadership of renowned chefs: Philippe Joannès, Meilleur Ouvrier de France and Executive Chef of the Fairmont Monte Carlo, Arnaud Tabarec, Chef of Le SeaSens (Five Seas Hotel in Cannes), Christophe Dufau, Les Bacchanales in Vence, Hermance Carro and her husband Quentin Joplet, from Michelin starred Le Castellaras in Fayence, and Steve Moracchini, Pastry Chef of the Hotel Belles Rives in Juan-les-Pins. The journalist oenologist and true worldwide pioneer of women in wine, Isabelle Forest (Fémivin.com), back from New York after attending the famous event Wines with Style as an expert for the French blind tastings, will play the role of sommelier.
A gluten-free day
As for demonstrations, the pastry chefs will get the place they deserve. They will be accompanied by their chefs for salty and sweet demonstrations. One day will be devoted to gluten-free, without dairy cooking to take into account the growing aspirations of gourmets.
