Summer Meeting Innovations
The Hippodrome Giant Screen is a new 16:9 screen of over 50 m2 (150 000 Euros) which replaces the former 37m2 one, providing increased visual comfort for spectators.
Creative workshops for children: perfumes, food, makeup workshops…
The Restaurants of Hippodrome Cote d’Azur, managed by the Group Pavilion, offer at the restaurant “Le Paddock” a new formula with Summer Buffets themed Provençal, Brazilian, Italian, Spanish, Asian, Tex-Mex, Scandinavian, Italian… at 28 €. Semi-nocturnal evenings: Tapas service and Brasserie. On Fireworks Night: Unique Menu Entry-Dish-Dessert (35 €)
Betting at the table: ten Hostesses, the “Ambulantes”, pass between the tables to collect bets, avoiding to interrupt the meal to bet.
Tribute to Sosno
Died last December, artist Sacha Sosno, has left its mark on the Hippodrome Cote d’Azur, with the bronze statue “Il n’y a plus d’obstacles” erected in front of the honor gate of the main entrance, by the sea
The Société des Courses de la Côte d’Azur will honor him on July 25, during the evening of the City of Cagnes-sur-Mer, and inaugurate the exhibition of selected works by the artist, which will be presented to the public on the site, outside: a course composed of sculptures, “panneaux oblitérés” and also in the Salle des Balances: lithographs, photos…
The exhibition will run until August 9, 2014.
