The 17th Kermesse aux Poissons in Theoule sur Mer celebrates fish, a king to reign throughout the month of February 2014.
Theoule sur Mer gives an appointment to all lovers of fish, crustaceans and shellfish, every day from February 1 to 28, 2014 for the largest Kermesse aux Poissons (Fish Festival) in France.
This year, 6 restaurateurs immerse themselves in the cuisine of the sea to offer every day the best dishes in the “Menu Kermesse”, a “whole fish” menu. The menu features 8 dishes with several hot and cold entrées, several dishes, cheese and dessert, wine and coffee included. The whole at an attractive price, between 51 and 60 €.
The six participating restaurants are: Los Roques, Le Marco Polo, Le Coup d’Fourchette, Le Bistrot de la Rague, Jilali.B, Chez Philippe.
In early 2014, it is once again a commitment to gourmandise, a gargantuan feast with marine flavors. Some dishes appearing on the menus: Tuna Rossini Tartare and Olive Oil with Truffle, Croustillant of Scallops Breaded with Panko and Coral Mousseline, Lobster Ravioles, Fried Prawns and Scallops with Butter of Orange, Fillet of Sea Bass étuvée of Fennel Cumin-Coriander with Vinegar of blood Orange Juices, or the Saint Pierre snacked on a Leek Fondue and Cream of Morel.
Vineyards of Provence such as the Domaine de la Maurette in La Motte, the Château de Berne in Lorgues, the Domaine de Curebéasse in Fréjus and the Château La Calisse in Pontévès, participate in the success of this 17th edition of the Kermesse aux Poissons.
Gourmet inauguration on Saturday, January 25, 2014
To open the appetite, meet the participant chefs and know their Kermesse menus, the inauguration of the Kermesse aux Poissons will take place in the Salle des Fêtes on Saturday, January 25 from 12:00 am. The public is invited to the now traditional fish soup and a Sardinade, with the partnership of the Rascasse Club and Côtes de Provence wines.
