L’Ermitage du Riou celebrated on May 3, 2016 its metamorphosis and its new gastronomic partnership with L’Oasis, the famous starred restaurant.

A luxurious renovation
The 4-star Hotel L’Ermitage du Riou reopened on April 23, 2016. Heavy rains fell on the region in October 2015, causing serious damage to the establishment, destroying the basement and kitchen. After several months of closure for the restoration of damaged infrastructure and equipment, the hotel L’Ermitage du Riou can finally welcome its customers into its spectacular setting, enhanced with multiple works of art and completely renovated spaces. With its luxuriously cozy atmosphere, its exceptional location and its complete renovation, the hotel can now continue to stay at the forefront of comfort and luxury to satisfy the expectations of an increasingly demanding clientele of palaces.
Refined decoration, contemporary style
L’Ermitage du Riou has 33 rooms and suites designed with natural materials. Their refined, contemporary-style decor plays on the alliance of marble, wood paneling, velvet, brass. In soft and bright colors, a subtle blend of beige, gray, pink and white is bathing in soft lighting. Other seductions of the place: antique furniture, period engravings, a large terrace overlooking the mouth of the Riou de l’Argentière that flows into the blue of the Mediterranean, with private pier to access the Lerin Islands. For snacks, a buffet breakfast area and a lounge bar is available to customers as well as 24h/24 room service, private parking with valet service. The residents of L’Ermitage du Riou hotel can make a gastronomic discovery by going for lunch or dinner to the nearby restaurant L’Oasis of famous chef Stéphane Raimbault which became the adjoining restaurant of the hotel by its excellence and proximity. According to the daily products that caught their eye at Marché Forville in Cannes, chefs Stéphane and Antoine prepare a menu both contemporary, Provençal and tinted with infinite oriental nuances between Local-fished Urchins Soufflés with Green Lemon and Rising Sun of Raw Fish. Their brother François, the pâtissier in the family, puts a high point in this magical and exotic partition, with its famous Caravan of Desserts.
