The MIPIM Awards celebrated their 25th anniversary during MIPIM 2015, the world’s property market, revealing the most ambitious and exciting real estate projects in the world.

The 25th edition of the MIPIM Awards, sponsored by Immobilien Zeitung, took place in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes on March 12 as part of MIPIM, the International Market for Real Estate Professionals.
In the final of MIPIM Awards, the jury had the difficult task of selecting the 10 winners, as well as the Special Jury Award and the People’s Choice Award, among the 40 projects nominated.

The real estate most prestigious Awards

Each year, the most innovative, ambitious and exciting real estate projects compete to win the prestigious MIPIM Awards, given in the Palais des Festivals Grand Auditorium, precisely where is announced the Festival de Cannes Palme d’Or. 2015 featured an impressive mix of projects from a record number of 22 countries -16 in 2014, competing in ten categories. Among them, Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Indonesia and Senegal had a chance to win an Award for the first time. France and the United Kingdom were each presenting four projects while Asia (China, Japan, Indonesia and Hong Kong) presented eight and the Scandinavian countries (Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden) had seven.
