Miss Cote d’Azur 2014 Election in Mougins

Miss Cote d’Azur 2014 is splendid and talented Charlotte Pirroni, Miss Antibes 2014, elected on Sunday August 3 at Mougins Eco’Parc among fifteen candidates.

Miss Antibes 2014, spendid Charlotte Pirroni, 20, succeeds the sublime Aurianne Sinacola, Miss Côte d’Azur 2013, who was 3rd Dauphine to Miss France 2014. Charlotte was crowned on the stage of Mougins Eco’Parc by the Queen of Women in France, Miss France 2014, the bellissime Flora Coquerel, after a stunning show full of grace and elegance, beauty and charm.

An idyllic setting

Organized by the Société Miss France, managed by CEO Sylvie Tellier  and presented by Lydia Podossenoff, Delegate for the Region Provence Alpes Cote D’Azur, the election of Miss Cote d’Azur was held on Sunday, August 3, 2014, in the idyllic setting of Mougins Eco’Parc gardens, was sold out for the occasion.

Misses performed a graceful show

The fifteen young beauty queens paraded in group and one by one on the stage before the jury and 1,500 people of the public in a well-tuned show. They made four passages on stage, moving in graceful original choreographies, dressed in princess dresses. For the first pass, they had slipped in a short tight silver lame, created by Danielle Podossenoff.
For the secondpassage in evening dresses created by Claudie Marco and André de Girdiano, they appeared like a bouquet of pink flowers in bustier and crinoline-like gowns, covered with tulle, a huge pink rose in the hand. At the mike handed by host André, the young ladies introduced themselves to the jury and the public, revealing their personality and motivation to fly the colors of the Cote d’Azur.
For the passage in “tenue balnéaire”, created by Julie Callou, they had donned black swimsuit with sparkling fairy wings. The grand finale to the applause of the audience, before the announcement of results, they paraded in golden haute couture dresses, created by Aline Scibelli.

A prestigious Jury

The Jury had a hard task to pick up the winners from the rich line-up of young ladies, all more beautiful the ones than the others, providing a high level of competition.
Many stars, celebrities and local personnalities helped famous actor and comedian Franck Dubosc, President of the Jury, in his difficult choice of Miss Côte d’Azur. The Jury comprised: Richard Cau, Société Miss France; Christophe Blachon, directeur of Parc Lenôtre: Annie Courtade, E. Leclerc Group, President of Cannes female Volleyball Club; Gabriel Natta, Journalist at TF1, Célia Jourdheuil, Société Miss France; Richard Galy Mayor of Mougins; Sylvie Tellier, CEO Société Miss France; Lydia Podossenoff, regional Miss France Delegate; Julien Lepers, famous TV host; Laëtizia Penmellen, Miss Provence 2013; Rayane Bensetti, actor; Fanny Nuvolone, Cannes Radio; Bruno Oger, two-star chef of Bistrot des Anges, Le Cannet; Carole Hottou, Corine de Farme.

Grand Gala Miss France

The Miss Cote d’Azur Show was peppered by performances of singer Sébastien Lorca, lead role in the musical “Ali Baba”, and a stunning circus act by artist from Lido in Paris Pierre Marchand. Before the Grand Finale, the public was delighted by the Grand Gala Miss France, an oustanding danse show led by Miss France 2014 Flora Coquerel with her three friends Aurianne Sinacola – Miss Côte d’Azur 2013, 3th Dauphine to Miss France 2014, Marie Reintz, Miss Bourgogne 2013 – finalist Miss France and Cloé Deher – Miss Guadeloupe 2013, 4th Dauphine to Miss France 2014.

Flora Coquerel, ambassador of France

Miss France 2014 , she was elected Miss Orléanais 2013 before winning the crown of Miss France in December 2013 in Dijon’s Zenith. She is from Franco-Beninois origines, is aged 20 and is a student in second year of International Business BTS. During the election of a Miss she takes part in, she likes to give the freshly elected beauty queen some advices to succeed in the world of a Miss.
For her, being Miss France is a unique experience, meaning to engage in a great adventure, but also a full-time job. Miss France plans to resume studying fashion design, she wants to head towards the creation and fashion; she also met with top designers.
Flora Coquerel put her fame to work for the association Kelina she founded and of which she is the godmother. Kelina aims to enhance the development of the health sector in Benin, to enable all sections of the population to receive care and health services of excellent quality.

The Miss Cote d’Azur winners

Miss Cote d’Azur 2014, Charlotte Pirroni, yielded to the insistence of her friends and enrolled in the Miss Antibes election. She then received the crown of the most beautiful girl in the city, and thus qualified for the regional finals of Miss Côte d’Azur 2014.
Her election confirms her talent as a model since the age of 8 years. She is currently a student in Bachelor in marketing and management, option Luxury, Fashion and Design in Nice and plans eventually go to a fashion design-school.
A sportswoman passionate of basketball, she is very determined to go higher, and is aiming to the title of Miss France.
Now in the firmament of French beauty stars, Charlotte Pirroni will represent the Côte d’Azur region in the Miss France 2014 competition to be held next December at Orléans Zénith, gathering 33 young beauty queens. We wish her the best luck!
