Miss Cote d'Azur 2014 Recreation

The 16 contenders to the title of Miss Cote d’Azur 2014 met on July 27 for a day’s work and relaxation at the Park Lenotre in Mougins and in Theoule-sur-mer.

The date of the Miss Cote d’Azur election approaches and preparations intensified this week before the ceremony on August 3 at Mougins Eco’Park. Which girl will succeed Auriane Sinacola, charming Miss Cote d’Azur 2013, which was third Dauphine to Miss France 2014?

Well-educated mind in healthy body

The Misses and the first dauphines from 8 French Riviera cities, including Cannes, Mandelieu La Napoule and Mougins for the Cannes basin, all vying to grab the crown of Miss Cote d’Azur, gathered in the morning at Park Lenotre in order to sharpen their preparation for the election of the beauty queen title. Because being beautiful, having a bright smile and measuring more than 1m 70 is not enough to be crowned Miss Miss Cote d’Azur!
The young ladies also must boast a well-educated, enlightened and active mind. To verify that the Misses have feet on the ground and diligently follow the news, they found themselves in front of a jury to be tested for general knowledge. A conditioning exercice to be able to respond to oral interview because being Miss Cote d’Azur is not easy and requires to possess as many assets as possible.

After the intellectual necessary step, the Misses were invited to a photo call in the gardens of the Park Lenotre. In a natural setting comprised of gardens, ponds, a Roman theater and a XVIIth century Florentine fountain, the beautiful girls have leisurely unveiled themselves before the lenses of press photographers.

At sea in Theoule

After a frugal breakfast, the Misses took the bus to join to the port of Theoule-sur-Mer for a trip at sea. Upon arrival at the mooring pontoon of society Esprit Glisse, managed by Arnaud, they donned their life rescue, and presto were gone for a speed surf on the blue waters of the Mediterranean.
Hair in the wind and soaked by the waves, they let their childish laughter merrily ring in the crystal sky of this beautiful afternoon on the Riviera. “It was great!” they declared in in a chorus upon arrival on land.

A more stressful meeting awaits them on August 3 in Mougins on the Eco’Park stage, with a crown of pink laurel and a ticket for the Zenith in Orleans where is to be held in December the Miss France election, on a national TV studio this time.
