Save The Queen! was born in 1985 in Florence. The brand is a genuine gallery of masterpieces. Each garment is characterized by hand-drawn printed fabrics and a strong artistic expression. For the 10th edition of the Cannes Shopping Festival, the brand presented its new collection, as well as its swimwear collection Save The Queen! Sun. The atmosphere, the scenery took us for a one and a half journey through history and culture of peoples of Asia along the Mekong River, told in print and embroidered fabrics. Each Save The Queen! garment is characterized by a subtle balance between modernity and tradition. Save The Queen! mingled in the parade as an interpretation of Italian style and know-how that the public could enjoy.
The inspiration for the collection always comes at the start from a field which is not “clothing”: visual arts, manuscripts and essays, films, travels ro discover new cultures. The Save The Queen! collections are a synthesis of images, shapes, materials and colors sprung from the hands of designers who design art before fashion. The Save the Queen! woman is curious and mischievous, romantic and dreamy, she is living the gesture that saves from boredom and finds her femininity. Save the Queen! creates a contemporary interpretation of the experiment, images and stylistic elements of different cultures. The brand looks for quality, innovative materials and craftsmanship. Eastern atmospheres also play a decisive role in the choice of fabrics of the Spring-Summer collection which offers many dresses made out of silk and uses shantung for pants. Colors, prints and fabric blends with embroidery and applications in the most subtle nuances based on military camouflage greens and blues. However, summer is enlightend with brighter colors like shining green, turquoise, yellow, lime and coral in printings with original graphics.
