Noise cancelling headphones

The new set of Sony’s High-Resolution Audio MDR-1000X stereo headphones is extending the range of wireless and noise cancelling headphones already available from Sony. The 1000X is the first to let people own their listening experience by tailoring the noise canceling features to the customer’s ears with a Personal NC Optimizer function. For the first time, an ingenuous Quick Attention mode lets you place the palm of your hand to the outside of the headphone right ear cup to have a conversation with someone, without taking the headset off. The Sense Engine technology enabling such a feature is a new technology by Sony that integrates unique audio signal processing and analysing techniques.

Immerse in a new world of KANDO

Outstanding performance is guaranteed with the Personal NC Optimizer, analysing the shape of your head and how you wear the headphones, ensuring a tailor made experience every time you listen to your favorite track or latest movie.
The idea in this creation is to provide young people with a new experience with their smarphones, turning them into High-Res natives, and enabling the listeners to feel KANDO (deeply moved in japanese), and immerse in a new world of musical sensations. The privileged 11 finalists of the Midem Artist Accelerator could enjoy the difference of High-Resolution audio, as they were presented with the new set of Sony’s MDR-1000X headphones at a photocall on June 6, 2017.
