The Foire Internationale de Nice, the annual must-attend event of the French Riviera, opened at the Nice Palais des Expositions on the theme “Tomorrow will be amazing!”
For this 72nd edition, the Foire Internationale de Nice has set up its stands from March 7 to 15, 2015, at the Palais des Expositions over 17,000 sqm. Hundreds of exhibitors offer their latest innovations in all areas: food, crafts, fashion, decoration, furnishings, household equipment, beauty, health, leisure, associations, insurance companies, pension and mutual funds. The Atrium includes the always innovative stands of the City of Nice, the General Council and the Region as well as a newcomer: the General Council of the Jura, wishing to enhance the flight destination Nice-Dole.

Overseas featured countries
For the second consecutive year, the Foire Internationale de Nice showcases the overseas territories with the Couleurs Créoles Village and its spicy flavors. On the 2nd floor of the Palais des Expositions over 800m², several dozen exhibitors represent their regions by providing visitors with colorful stalls where punches, rum, spices, clothing, cosmetics and traditional coconut sorbet invite to travel! Some animations like traditional dances and music, fashion shows, demonstrations, tastings and discovery workshops offer the visitors to deepen their knowledge on these sometimes overlooked distant horizons.
Entertainment area
The animation area takes the visitors to discover another kind of trip, an inner voyage. A dozen consultants in Divination, chosen for their seriousness and professionalism, propose their specialties: Tarot reader, numerology, clairvoyance, astrology… In addition, 3 times a day, unique shows are offered on the podium, such as hypnosis, mentalism and illusions sessions…

The Foire Internationale de Nice also get fresh air on the Esplanade Tassigny with the Plein Air area. Many exhibitors offer a range of outdoor equipment and maintenance solutions: swimming pools, pergolas, garden furniture or barbecue grill are mingling with tractors, brush cutters, lawn mowers or even the windmills. Synthetic lawns and foliage are also showcases by the society Sport et Jardin. These elements are now essential elements of urban architecture where natural green roofs hardly find their places.
Salon Bâtir
Finally, on 2 floors of the Palais Acropolis, the Salon Bâtir – considered the reference building fair in the great Southeast – reveals to visitors all the keys to developing a healthy habitat, the trends, even with “green” quality: sound and heat insulation, heating, doors and windows, floors, woodwork, fireplaces or stairs.

This year, Friday the 13th turned up among the dates of the Foire Internationale de Nice, and it hopes to benefit its visitors. Many prizes will offered to test one’s luck several times.
