Launch of Terrasse du Plaza Summer Season

La Terrasse du Plaza Restaurant and Lounge Bar, on the rooftop of Hotel Plaza in Nice, offers unique panoramic views on the Mediterranée, the Vieux Nice and Albert 1er Gardens.

The Summer season of the Terrasse du Plaza with its Restaurant and Lounge Bar was launched with Côte Magazine on May 26, 2015, at a sumptuous party on this haven of peace and epicurean pleasures between sea and sky in the heart of Nice “Carré d’Or”, overlooking Nice sea front, the sea and oceans of greenery.

The luxury 4-star Hotel Plaza in Nice is located opposite the sea, near the old town, in the heart of Nice and the upmarket “Golden Square”, between the Place Massena and the Promenade des Anglais, edged with the most prestigious shops.
On the roof, the suspended garden of La Terrasse du Plaza Restaurant and Lounge Bar offers panoramic 360-degree views against the background of the Mediterranean horizon, the Old Nice and Albert 1er Gardens.

Fresh seasonal cuisine

The menu of Terrasse du Plaza regularly varies with the seasons, and chef Olivier Boeuf offering a fresh and authentic cuisine halfway between Italy and Provence. Chef Olivier Boeuf masters the art of sublimating the best Mediterranean products, combining quick cooking and creative mixes, pieces of fish or crustacean to snack, half-cooked tuna or Saint Jacques.
On the menu you can find: half-cooked Landes Duck Foie Gras with a fine jelly of de porto and griottes, Bellota Iberian ham with Grana shavings and Roquette, Salade Niçoise with half-backed Tuna and Quail eggs. As dishes, you may like to savor a roasted Rack of Lamb in Olive Crust, Artichokes, fondant Potatoes, Jus Court or a grilled Black Angus Sirloin steak with Bearnaise sauce and vegetables or one of the many fish dishes.

For snacks at any time of the day, a farniente break, have a drink or enjoy the new Mojitos cocktails, all accompanied by delicious tapas, antipasti with colorful vegetables, the cozy panoramic Lounge bar is expecting you.
The Terrasse du Plaza is also a must for Live DJ evenings liven up by DJ Miss Cecyls. The season will also be marked by a musical program with Apéros Lounge to the rhythm of the best DJs in the region.
The panoramic restaurant is open all year round and is not afraid of bad weather thanks to its retractable roof. The restaurant offers 120 seats and can accommodate up to 250 people for cocktails.
