Lacoste, the French iconic brand, is inspired by René Lacoste‘s values, a tennis legend whose creations have changed the face of sport and revolutionized the fashion industry. In 1927, René Lacoste met his future wife Simone Thion de la Chaume, 13 times France golf champion. In 1928, the Chantaco golf course, near Saint-Jean-De-Luz, was the scene of their marriage and became their life playground. Famous for its lush greenery and architectural beauty, the Chantaco golf regularly hosted many personalities such as the Prince of Wales, Clark Gable and Charlie Chaplin. This sporting world of refinement and elegance gave birth to a collection of iconic bags, the Chantaco Collection.

The Chantaco Collection, is expanded with a new line of men’s bags for the 2017 Spring Summer season presented by Lacoste at TFWA-WE 2016. The collection is in the same timeless design as Lacoste’s sporting heritage. This gorgeous collection of leather bags with crocodile relief, in navy blue, black and blue peacock colors, will seduce the men with its modern and elegant lines. It is intended for men of character who have left the courts, clay and tracks to make the city their playing field.
At work, while traveling, or just for leisure, they can wear the bags with timeless look that perfectly suits their daily lives. The Collection Chantaco bears the footprint of Lacoste’s family life and history with the touch of modernity and contemporary spirit of the line which is enriched with the seasons.

At TFWA WE-2016 in Cannes, Lacoste organized a nice sporting and elegance event on the rooftop of the Radisson Blu hotel, where guests could hit a few golf balls at the driving range in front of one of the most beautiful panoramas in the French Riviera.
