The Festival de Cannes welcomes the Kobal Collection to celebrate the glossy world of the pin-ups in a major exhibition. Gathered from archives provided from many varied sources, this fabulous collection of cinema-related photographs has been constantly enriched over the years and today totals more than a million precious images.

Moonrise Kingdom by Wes Anderson on the 65th festival de cannes opening screening.


A star-studded audience listened to President of Jury Nanni Moretti pronounce the ritual words: «I declare opend the 65th Festival de Cannes» before watching Moonrise Kingdom by Wes Anderson.

Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, Moonrise Kingdom tells the story of two 12-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness

Day 2: Rust and Bone to begin with serious things...


For this second day of the 2012 Festival de Cannes, the film crew from Rust and Bone climbed the red stairs leading to the auditorium Lumière of the Palais des Festivals with the beautiful Marion Cotillard who attracted all the lenses. It is one of the most anticipated stars of this 65th edition of the Festival. As she leads a brilliant career international career, the little Frenchie Marion Cotillard came to defend the latest film by director Jacques Audiard, in which she plays Stephanie, an killer wale trainer who loses his legs in a tragic accident.

Day 3: Paradise:Love and Madagascar 3


Is the world a jungle, where love, sex, faith and hope are used to manipulate people ? Anyway, it is not a Paradise... But an urban jungle   can inspire a successful cartoon with loony characters served by some of the most famous  voices of the cinema. Is Madagascar a paradise ?

Day 4: Dupa Dealuri and Lawless


Fourth day of competition with Dupa Dealuri, a rather harsh reflexion on love feeling against love of God and an american film, Lawless telling the true story of three infamous gangster brothers during prohibition. On the red carpet, the fashio show goes on, more and more glamour...

Day 5: Amour and The Hunt


Thomas Vinterberg revisits the themes of The Celebration (Jury Prize in 1998) in The Hunt, story of a man falsely accused of being a pedophile. Michael Haneke's Amour stars Jean-Louis Trintignant and Emmanuelle Riva as an elderly couple undergoing the ultimate test of love.

Rain arouse men "chevalier servant" instinct in order to protect every ounce of feminine charm displayed on the Red carpet and many laugh were exchanged.

Day 6: Da-Reun Na-Re-Suh and You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet


Alain Resnais’ You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet is a free adaptation of jean Anhouil’s Eurydice, featuring his companion Sabine Azema with her since ever partner Pierre Arditi. Da-Reun Na-Re-Suh stars french actress Isabelle Huppert... «in another country».

An encounter with the Dardenne brothers


Jean-Pierre Dardenne, President of the Jury for the Short Film Competition, has been sharing his experiences with Cannes Short Film attendees in the Short Film Corner conference room. He was accompanied by his brother Luc, co-screenwriter, co-director, and long-standing co-creator. Together, they have been talking about cinema in an interview with film critic Jean-Sébastien Chauvin.

Day 7: The Angel’s Share and Killing Them Softly


The Croisette was waiting for Brad Pitt who stars in Killing Them Softly a crime film by writer-director Andrew Dominik. Fortunately, Brad brought the sun with him, allowing him to stay a long time on the Red Carpet for the great delight of photographers and the huge crowd of fans.

Day 9: Post Tenebras Lux and The Paperboy


Divine Nicole Kidman appeared on the Red Carpet to defend The paper Boy, a film that blew a whiff of scandal on the Festival. Always many star to climb the twenty-four steps leading to glory, among which, a surprise guest, Antonio Banderas.

Day 10: In The Fog  and Cosmopolis


If Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis depicts a decaying technological society, in Cannes glamour is more than ever in fashion and the most prestigious, famous and gorgeous models in the world walk the Red Carpet to defend the films they’re staring in. Tonight, many ladies choose red or Klein blue...

Day 11: Do-Nui Mat (The Taste of Money) and Mud


The Festival comes to the end and predictions are in full swing as who’s going to win the Palme d’Or. The Croisette has found again the smile with the sun and ladies could walk up the Red Carpet with their sumptuous couture dresses and be photographed for a long time.

Closing Day: Therese Desqueyroux closes 65th Festival de Cannes


The official Jury of this 65th Festival de Cannes, presided over by Nanni Moretti, revealed this evening the prizes winners during the Closing Ceremony.

Bérénice Bejo hosted Audrey Tautou and Adrien Brody on the stage of the Grand Théâtre Lumière to award the Palme d’or to Michael Haneke for his film Amour (Love).

Claude Miller’s Thérèse Desqueyroux starring Audrey Tautou, Gilles Lellouche and Anaïs Demoustier, was screened at the end of the ceremony.

Golden Menorahs Award Ceremony at Nice Opera


On December 2, 2012, in the prestigious Opéra de Nice, was held the 7th Golden Menorahs ceremony, representing Charity, brotherly love and harmony, organized by the Golden Menorahs Committee from the lodge Moshe Dayanet which was celebrating this year the thirty years of existence. SICASIL inaugurates its third micro-hydroelectric plant


Sustainably preserving water resources and bringing a concrete, innovative and exemplary contribution to the energy security of the Alpes-Maritimes is the motto of SICASIL, in charge of the drinking water public service of the Cannes basin. The SICASIL has inaugurated on December 4, the third micro-hydroelectric plant installed on the potable water system, located Chemin de l’Ecluse in Pégomas.
