Connect to the international ecosystem in just a few seconds from your smartphone
On the occasion of the international summits organised in Cannes and Nice, Team Côte d’Azur, the Côte d’Azur’s investment promotion agency unveils the first geolocated communication smartphone application. Aimed at decision makers and international investors passing through the Alpes-Maritimes, it will enable them to meet not only each other but also the region's leaders in their field of activity. Available in English for both iPhone and Android, the “Invest in Côte d’Azur” application offers innovative and practical functionalities particularly suited to the needs of decision makers who are continually on the move:
- Meet your Peers: the ability to identify and make direct contact with economic leaders (major groups, SMEs, competitiveness clusters, research centres, schools, public authorities, etc.) present on the Côte d’Azur at the same time as the user, including the Côte d’Azur’s “champions” player.
- News: all the latest news about the Côte d’Azur’s technology industry
- Agenda: all current and future international events in the region
- Success Stories: the latest investment decisions and testimonials from investors
- Local Apps: the “Best of” the mobile applications on the Cote d’Azur!
- Locate your Business: all the services and support offered by Team Côte d’Azur for an investment
- Company Compass: a list of the region’s 150 flagship companies with the option to locate them on an interactive map and find the best way to get there
- Flights: all flight departures and arrivals at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, in real-time
-Weather: detailed weather from Saint-Tropez to the Italian border.
This application is part of the digital communication strategy that Team Côte d’Azur have been working on for almost two years which also includes making its website a real source of information and support for promotion (daily news in English and French) in order to raise foreign companies’ awareness of investment opportunities and the region. With a mainly American and British audience, the number of visitors to the website increased fourfold between 2008 and 2011. Furthermore, 5,000 people have subscribed to the daily newsletter (1/3 in English and 2/3 in French). The result is on average, 3 investment projects per year arising from a prospective contact made via a visit to the website.
