April inaugurations in Cannes

Suquet’s Saint Antoine becomes a restaurant

At the very foot of the Rue Saint Antoine leading into the heart of Cannes old town, the Saint Antoine «Bar-Tabac» (bar and tobacconist) has been. deeply transformed. The tobacconist part of the establishment has moved to the left and will keep on welcoming night consumers of cigarettes and cigars when the bar has been adjoined a brasserie restaurant. The owner, Mr Powietrzinski, (our photo) wishes the restaurant to become as well a Cannes institution and promises Paris style brasserie worked «à l’ardoise» (dishes written on slates) with oysters and sea food plates, and delicious other dishes to please his customers.

Two Cannes institutions get transformation

The Bâoli, the unmissable Cannes nights temple, changes decoration

After two weeks and one million Euro of hectic works, the Bâoli, trendy rendez-vous for international Jet Set nights, shows a splendid redecorated interior. Modern and sophisticated materials, zen and clean color code provide a magical atmosphere.

In the VIP corner, way mirrors brighten up, gradually showing pictures as the music grows louder during the night. To make a success of the opening night, the Bâoli pleased its clients by inviting the world-famous French DJ Bob Sinclar, who played for the first time his single «Far l’amore», a title that perfectly matches the luxury, glamour and sensuality of the premises.
