With 150 exhibitors representing 300 trade marks, this international air Show claims 10% increase every year. The 8,000 visitors (3,000 come with their own plane) could admire 150 exhibited aircrafts, among which ‘old’ models like the Beechcraft Baron and Bonanza as well as world exclusive like the French Akoya by LISA Airplanes.

The most exciting plane of the Cannes Air Show was the two-seater Akoya. Apart from its innovative and beautiful design with pure lines, this small plane can land and take off from ground, water and snow thanks to its multi-function landing gear including skis and foilers for water. By its multi-access nature, the Akoya can take fliers to different places and travel in 'circuit ' mode, moving from one place to another without reconfiguration. The Akoya can make himself small with fold-up wings and hide on a boat or be transported on a trailer. Behind the cockpit, lays a  parachute, ensuring a complete security and serenity. The casing is entirely made of composite material and the structure combines the use of ultra-light carbon elements and metals such as titanium and aluminum. Autonomy 1,000 km at 200 km/h. Fulfill old Icare’s dream with this little air jewel will cost 300,000 €.
