During the weekend of October 29 and 30 20,000 people attended the GT Tour to discover and celebrate the end of a colorful season. Indeed, the GT Tour has kept all its promises on the track of the Var Castelet Paul Ricard. Early in the year, at the launch of the GT TOUR, Hughes Chaunac said "our desire is to seduce the viewer, the passionate who comes to see the races, the family generally speaking to whom we were able to provide entertainment and other interests". Different formats of racing was announced, a new setting and a show on the track around the event. The result is more than positive and the success is amazing. Six different sets, fifteen races, prestige cars, one-seaters, single-brand races, the cocktail was explosive to finish off an eventful season on the Paul Ricard circuit. The many spectators present in the village, the stands or the paddock, have lived for excitement, go and meet the drivers, cross the stars and personalities from all horizons. David Hallyday, Fabien Barthez, Olivier Panis and many others have contributed to the joys of the audience. Viewers were also able to meet face to face with the seven-time world rally champion Sebastien Loeb, who announced this weekend the creation of Sebastien Loeb's Team Racing. A professional team, which is intended initially to enter a car in the Porsche Carrera Cup, but also to help young drivers and to accompany gentlemen drivers. Sebastien Loeb Racing is also considering participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2014. While the crowd was attracted by book signings near the stands, funambulists from XTREM show were performing miracles. The manufacturer SEAT has used this meeting to invite the customers car owners to test the brand SEAT DRIFF, the police put his reflex simulator available to the public, and the huge bouncy castles have excited the young while less youngs were trying to drive in varied simulators. Stephane Clair Director of the circuit was glad of such a popular success at the end of this weekend: "The teams of the circuit and Oreka, organizer and promoter of GT TOUR, had worked hard together to make this last meeting a beautiful réussite. The perfect agreement between the two entities allowed us to achieve a beautiful événement. Pilotes, team managers, organizers, everyone agrees to acknowledge the success of GT TOUR on the Paul Ricard circuit and is looking forward already to the next edition.
