The Palais Stéphanie becomes the JW Marriott Cannes
The youngest five stars hotel of Cannes, the Palais Stéphanie, build in the eighties on the site of the former Palais des Festivals, has changed sign. Its lebanese-canadian owner, Eliott Aintabi, has given the management of the establishment to the american hotel group «JW Marriott». A new director has been appointed : Mr Ziad Atrissi, 36 years old french-lebanese raised in the JW Marriott group who will have to manage the 210 rooms and 50 suites hotel.
The Carlton changes hands
The Carlton-Intercontinental has come under new ownership. The american bank Morgan Stanley has sold the five stars hotel to a lebanese businessman Mr Toufic Aboukhater.
Built in 1911, the world-famous hotel proposes to international customers 340 rooms among which 40 suites.
