The Cherry on The Cake

The Cherry on the Cake : an exhibition to crunch in Escoffier’s museum

From May 3 to October 31, the Escoffier Museum of Culinary Art in Villeneuve- Loubet village presents an extraordinary exhibition of desserts. Made of sugar and chocolate, the exhibition of pastries gathers works of art created by the members of the APRECA - Association of Côte d’Azur Restaurant Pastry Chefs. The exhibition is based on their motto : «There's no great meal without a good dessert. It’s the cherry on the cake». Discover the humor and talent of famous chefs always enjoying to share their passion. An great fresco representing the most famous meal, «The Last Supper», with the Pastry Chefs impersonating Jesus and the apostles overlooks the exhibition.

The Escoffier Foudation welcomes visitors to the Museum of Culinary Art, set in the birth home of the great French Chef, on 300 sq. m dedicated to gastronomy history.
