Denis Fétisson delicious courses

I learned cooking from Denis Fétisson

Denis Fétisson, two-stars chef of 32 years, gives cooking classes at his restaurant L'Amandier in the heart of the postcard village of Mougins. Born in Marseille, he first worked at the Daniel in Paris before being sacred young chef of the year with the price Jacquard and pursue his culinary career at the Cheval Blanc in Courchevel. Newly arrived in the region, he finds himself now in command of L'Amandier restaurant located at the top of the old village of Mougins, of highly gastronomic reputation. The school in which Denis Fétisson orchestrates the courses, was created by Roger Verge in an old oil mill that became a restaurant. Decorated in very relaxing shades of beige, the restaurant overlooks on one side a breathtaking view of the valley and on the other a Peynet-style place. Denis Fétisson concocted with the help of a young and dynamic team a program that follows the seasons and allows enjoying flavors and scents. Thus, learning about the cuisine becomes simple and fun. Tips, tricks and knacks are explained around the cooking stoves to groups of 6 to 15 participants. Sessions (approximately 2:30) take place around a theme and end with a tasting at a table decorated with a beautiful china and silver cutlery. Tablecloth and napkins refine the set of refinement and conviviality for tasting delicious and full of originality dishes prepared by participants throughout an afternoon of discovery and learning. Students will leave with a gourmet recipe in their mind that they can then reproduce at home with family or friends.
