At the end of the 1960s, at New York, 5th avenue, James Kaplan and Gérard Courtin, passionate about Fashion and Music, launch a brand in line with their image: Jacomo. The jet set adopts their style right away. True to their Couture spirit, they launch their first perfume ‘Eau Cendrée’ (1970) which becomes a hit. The line is launched, Jacomo has won recognition. Silences (1978) and Jacomo de Jacomo (1980) quickly follow, to become must-have of the brand. Then, solid and powerful, For Her (2005) and For Men (2007) enter Jacomo’s history.
Finally, the alliance of technology and contemporary, always, with an innovative duo, lead to the creation of It’s me (2011). The new perfume for her by Jacomo is a harmonious blend of sparkling sensuality and warmth. Its lively, colourful top notes give it a mischievous air, before unveiling sumptuous heart notes where generous flowers welcome appetising notes of pear and dry fruit. Its intense and suave base of patchouli, enhanced by iris powder, is wrapped in rich sandalwood, jasmine and musk.
It’s me is also for him with a vivacious and fruity, heralding a floral, aromatic, woody heart. The scent evolves towards an oriental base, enhanced by an ozone note. A beautiful, magical blend in the trail of patchouli, vanilla and musk gives me my whole maturity. It's me, just like me!
Jacomo de Jacomo Original, the timeless Men’s Fragrance from Jacomo gets a new packaging, looking like a lighter. A classic aromatic green note with lavander, geranium and oakmoss creating a smooth and comfortable environment. The heart and base of the fragrance, a mix between woodnotes and spices, enhance the masculine side of the fragrance.
Silences, a feminine classic revisited.
Jacomo entrusted perfumer Serge Majoullier with the renewal of its great, feminine fragrance. “Silences is an exceptional perfume. A chyprée note was giving a dark, animal, indiscernible side to the perfume. I wanted to bring a touch of freshness and transparency while keeping the green, floral character so typical of Silences. The Chyprée, leather part fades away to better reveal notes of Galbanum and Narcissus: rich, rare and noble materials, now at the heart of Silences, which give the perfume a sophisticated trail and a signature“.
