Meltin’Pop Manga by Nathline
Meltin’Pop Manga by Nathline
Nathline’s Meltin’Pot Manga exhibition at Palm Beach
A Cannes artist, born in 1971, top athlete for many years, Nathline decided to live her passion for painting after having ended her sports career. Self-taught, passionate about drawing and painting, Nathline has preserved the gift of spontaneous sensitivity. Her optimism stems from her colorful canvases and her works are subtly designed to nourish the observer's heart and mind by the chosen colors and shapes. Her new collection, entitled Nikita's Life, transcribes passages of her life. Nathline now has a passion for the history of Japan that fascinates her by its traditions and arts. She decides to work her painting through the Manga and its origins and tries to convey emotions through her Manga faces, all wearing symbolic names, in revealing all the femininity of women and the sensitivity of Japanese women in the world. According to the artist: "Painting is the most expressive of Plastic Arts. The sculpture only yields the shape, while painting can translate all the conceptions of the mind, in their shapes and colors represented on a flat surface through all the realities of nature or of the imagination. "
