G 20 YES International Meeting

The G20 YES, the entrepreneurs world meeting

On Monday, October 3 was held at the Villa Massena in Nice the press conference on the entrepreneurs' G20 (Young Entrepreneur Summit), the annual international summit that brings together the most emblematic businesswomen and businessmen from G20 countries and which will take place this year in Nice from October 31 to November 2, 2011. The contributors were: Christian Estrosi, Deputy-Mayor of Nice, President of Nice Côte d'Azur, Eric Ciotti, Deputy , President of the Alpes Maritimes County Council, Grégoire Sentilhés, Chairman of Entrepreneurs' G20, Jean Pierre Letartre, Chairman of Ernst and Young, Jean Yves Courtois, CEO of Orolia, Pierre Cuilleret, President of Micromania.

400 entrepreneurs from around the world, aged 18-45 years, will meet to finalize proposals they will present on November 3 to G20 Heads of States, designed to help young people to become "entrepreneurs of their own destiny." The measures they propose will show that entrepreneurship is, both in emerging markets than in developed countries, and towards young people in particular, the first key to overcoming the crisis and the best thing to shape the 21st century economy of an innovative, sustainable and united world. The Nice summit is a landmark and a showcase for the city of Nice, economic hub of the great southern France, long involved with local entrepreneurs, and the Department of Alpes-Maritimes, which will host, in the near-by city of Cannes, the political leaders G20 a few days later, on November 3 and 4, 2011.  In fact, this third edition that Mr Christian Estrosi has wished to welcome can highlight the PACA region which is particularly well represented in the French delegation, composed of 60 entrepreneurs, 40% women and 60% from the province, with 5 entrepreneurs representing the world agro-food, high-tech and services. What makes Christian Estrosi tell: "My ambition is to build the city of innovation with the Eco Valley in transformation and operational phase, encourage new investments and also support the development of our businesses. The summit will be a unique opportunity for France and Nice, their entrepreneurs and companies to exchange and promote the emergence of new entrepreneurs able to grow in the world." Eric Ciotti, for his part said that from investment are born wealth, growth and employment. Our area of the Alpes Maritimes is fully committed to promote and enhance the vitality and innovation of its businesses and to accommodate all the creators who want to install on it. Grégroire Sentilhes, meanwhile, expects this summit to succeed in convincing the heads of state that the critical path to growth is the way of putting the contractor at the heart of our social, economic and cultural model.
