Pelbo exhibition at Espace Miramar
Pelbo comes from the contraction of the beginning of the artists’ names : Franck Pellegrino (Pel) and Lucas Beaufort (bo). The Pelbo exhibition, presented by the Mamatoro Gallery, is the meeting of two artists, and the mixture of genres. On one hand, Lucas’s melancholy and poetry, on the other, Frank and his instinct of the real, turned to street culture. The concrete idea of the project is to open a door to children and recklessness is their battle cry. Most of the paintings are colorful escutcheons on a black background expressing deep feelings in smooth lines and childish characters. Thanks to social networks, web surfers have exercised their talents on the theme : Pelbo in all forms.
