Polygone Riviera, an Open Air Outlet
Polygone Riviera, an Open Air Outlet
Socri, creator of exceptional venues
At MAPIC 2012, the Socri stand was presenting its new shopping center, the Polygone Riviera, that was born during the laying of the foundation stone in Cagnes-sur-Mer last November. This open air shopping center has the ambition of being the one and only in France with such a build configuration and more than 30,000 m2 along the Avenue des Alpes.
With its exceptional location, nestled on the shores of the Mediterranean, in the heart of an attractive area with its large 1.5 million population within 30 minutes drive, with heavy road traffic, a casino, a racecourse, 5 minutes away from the A8 highway and 35 minutes from Italy, served by the Nice Côte d'Azur international airport, the Polygone project designed by one of the largest contemporary commercial architecture firms portrays itself as a collection of buildings in an upscale environment where art and nature combine to create a perfect setting.
The Polygone mall will be equipped with a 3,000 spaces parking to allow easy access to the many visitors and customers to make their purchases in upscale fashion and luxury stores, a varied and quality restauration and a center dedicated to leisure.
More than 200 businesses in total, including 30 recreational (cinema complex, bowling, fitness, spa, restaurants, playgrounds...), 20 offices, professional and services places, 20 medium supermarkets, 20 large shops, 10 kiosks, and a hundred shops - half of them already sold - will open their doors in 2015 with, as a locomotive, the major retailer "Printemps" that will cover 9,000 m2. Zara, Mango, Botanic, La Grande Récré, Séphora and Hippopotamus will complete the range of trendy shops. New luxury brands such as Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Burberry, are in the process of negotiation with the company Socri.
Socri is an essential player in commercial real estate, as it has to its credit the construction of several shopping centers including the beautiful Polygone Montpellier and Polygone Béziers, that opened in 2010. Completely on open air on three levels, it was awarded the NCCC (National Council of Shopping Centers) Prize of the most beautiful creation of a shopping center.
Willing to associate art and culture to its shopping and leisure spaces, Polygone will offer its customers permanent exhibitions of current Art; Polygon has trusted Sacha Sosno with achieving a monumental sculpture to mark the entrance to the site.
