Organised around the first week of June, Les Voiles d’Antibes – Trophée Panerai welcome each year, in Antibes - Juan Les Pins Port Vauban, a selection of the most impressive Vintage Yachts (built before 1950) and Classics (built before 1976), Metric Classes (6 Metre, 8 Metre and the Twelves, competitors of the America’s Cup from 1958 to 1987) and Spirit of Tradition Yachts who have made up since the end of the 19th century, the great history of international Yachting. This prestigious gathering of majestic tall ships, marks the start of the classic regatta season in the Mediterranean and is the first stage of the famous Panerai Classic Yacht Challenge.

Officine Panerai creates a special limited edition watch for each year of the circuit. For the 2011 event, it’s the Luminor Submersible 1950 Regatta 3 Days GMT Automatic Titanio - 47mm: a professional underwater watch, water resistant up to 30 atmospheres (approximately 300 meters), fitted with a rotating bezel with graduated scale to calculate dive duration and a hand indicating the second time zone.
