The Suquet Musical Nights presented on July 26 in La Castre Court an outstanding artist. Outstanding by his enormous talent at such a young age (he is 23) and his engaging personality. German pianist Leon Buche is a phenomenon. Born in 1988 in Bremen, Leon Buche enters in 1997 the Hanns Eisler Music University in the class of Hella and Walter, then in 2000 the Berlin University of Arts. He studied composition in the class of Brettingham Smith and won the same year the prize composition contest "Bach 2000" for his transcriptions of Bach's Toccata and Fugue. In 2000, he performed the world premiere of the symphony he composed "Die Aufstand" with the Orchestra of Babelsberg ", which will be burned to CD in 2004. In 2002, he transcribed for piano, for the first time, his symphony "Harry Potters and the Philosopher's Stone." in 2005, he was soloist with the National Orchestra of Brandenburg, under the direction of Heribert Beissel in Frankfurt, in the piano concerto KV 488 by Mozart. He participated in 2007 to the chamber music contest of the Music Academy of Hessen and in 2008 to the International Competition Clara Haskil, Pozzoli, Enesco. In 2010 he won the First Prize Simone Delbert-February at the International Competition of Nice and is the recipient of the contest Cidade de Ferrol in Spain, Premi Principality of Andorra.

His musical temperament, full of passion and virtuosity, his stage presence and his youthful, relaxed appearance make his concerts unforgettable and call for cheers. Since the age of nine he played his own compositions on a regular basis. On this recital, he performed "Maelstrom - Black Fantasy", a contemporary composition of his, during which he put one hand onto the strings to block the knockers and even played with a book set on the sharp strings. He interpreted his classical program as his musical vitality and youth want it and conquered the public.
