Spanish Desigual introduced their products for the first time in Tax Free World Exhibition on a very artistic and colorful stand. Desigual forges ahead with its international expansion process and plans to finish 2011 with 35 points of sale in 30 of the best airports around the world. Currently the clothing brand is present in major international airports, such as Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles and Houston. Likewise the brand is in the process of establishing its presence in major commercial airports in Asia and South America. These new openings are in line with the expansion strategy of the company, which has made a strong commitment to internationalization and innovation. Desigual will continue its same line of growth and extensive presence in major international hubs. Desigual remains true to the brand’s singular style and ambience that characterizes all its stores. With its stores, it wants to transmit the idea that there is always something different, positive and fun: the Desigual experience. In recent years, the company has registered sustained growth greater than 50% per year and employs 3,000 people, from 72 different nationalities. Desigual closed 2010 with a world presence of 200 Desigual brand stores, 7,000 multi-brand stores, and 1,700 sections in department stores, as well as reaching a turnover figure of €440m.
