Iguana Amphibious Yacht
Mummy, have small boats that go to see caterpillars ?
The first born of the IGUANA YACHTS range has been presented to the public in the Festival de la Plaisance. Founded by Antoine Brugidou, the company Iguana Yachts has worked three years to create a new open boat able to go out of and get into the water by itself. The model presented in Cannes just went out of the shipyard. The caterpillars that allows ground mobility function for the boat to go into and out of the water inserts into the sides of the boat and are cleared during navigation allowing the new open boat to reach outstanding performance (35 knots). Even better, naval architect Tanguy le Bihan has played with these characteristics to combine at the best the passage into the wave. Associated with the design of Antoine Fritsch Associates, IGUANA 29 is a beautiful boat on land or in water which, after all, is a rare feature. The IGUANA version 29 is available at less than 220 000 euros. With its retractable road track, the IGUANA 29 is the first in a family of boats designed for those who want to ride freely with a high level of service (teak flooring, stairs at the back for access on land and at sea, large interior space, console, table, sunbed…). And no need to worry about these multiple contingencies specific to yachting (place in port, dry dock, mooring, shore access ...) that make often more difficult going at sea than it looks.
