Inauguration of the Festival de la Plaisance
The 34th festival de la Plaisance has been inaugurated in the presence of Mrs Annette Roux, President of the Festival de la Plaisance, Mr Bernard Brochand, Deputy-Mayor of Cannes, Mr Jean-François Fountaine, Président of the Fédération des Industries Nautiques, Mr Renaud Jourdon, the new Festival de la Plaisance Commissaire Général, Mr Gilles Cima, Deputy to urbanism, and personalities of the yachting world. During his speech, Mr Bernard Brochand has praised the exceptional organization of the Festival. He then emphasized that Cannes is an international city since 1835 and said he was very pleased to welcome 84 nations present during the festival de la Plaisance.
