Lalique Nilang & Hommage à l’Homme at the Majestic
Art & Fragrance held a party at the Majestic Hotel to launch Lalique new creations: a new packaging for the Nilang fragrance, a new perfume for men, Hommage à l’Homme, and its new line of jewelry, presented in a four young ladies catwalk show, featuring the four elements.
Nilang blossomed nicely some years ago. The hint of a river, the memory of a flower… The mystery remains intact. Nilang takes the imagination along with it, transports you to delicately perfumed banks and rediscovers itself in a new flacon, a classical embodiment in the family of Lalique perfumes. In the extraordinary garden of Nilang, a homage to the astonishing. Lalique provides a modern up-to-date bottle for this original creation of Gérard Anthony who dreamed of this fragrance and composed this Aqua-Oriental into which the Orient plunges. The top note is an imaginary hint of the lotus flower with fresh and lightly edible notes of peach, mandarin and melon, watery fruits. Luminous, the heart note honours the splendour of the flowers: freesia, water jasmine, clove flower brought out with a fruity touch of wild blueberries. Sensual, the dry down note brings together amber, vanilla, praline, sandalwood, patchouli and musk. Between these two different universes, an addictive fragrance is created by a subtle game of opposition. A marriage of freshness and sensuality is celebrated in Nilang.
Lalique Hommage à l’Homme will be launched at the beginning of 2012.
For the jewelry, Lalique chooses elements for their strength, colour or texture and whether precious or not, they became a tool for his creation. Recreating his own world, making matter come to life and illuminating women, Lalique orchestrates all four elements - water, air, earth and fire - with virtuosity and extravagance.
