Monte Carlo Yachts second year in Cannes
Launched one year ago in Cannes Festival de la Plaisance, the MCY 76, the first model of the new brand Monte Carlo Yachts, was making its debut. Twelve months after that launch the shipyard’s attention is focused on the next development prospects. Monte Carlo Yachts has its sights set on improving the positive data recorded last season, strengthening its position on the market and confirming the driving role it plays within the Beneteau Group, a world leader in the construction of pleasure craft. There are three main growth areas on which the shipyard’s investments are focused: evolution of the range, expansion of the production sites, and development of the commercial structure (sales and after-sales). This year, Monte Carlo Yachts presented its new model: the MCY 65, which in both its design – again entrusted to the two superstars Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard – and its technological solutions confirms concepts and strengths of the previous model. The range will be further enriched in 2012 with the launch of another two yachts.
