Since 1795, the Rancé family has dedicated itself to the development of the finest bath and body products, which historically were favored by Napoleon who was Rancé’s best client. Originally founded in Grasse by François Rancé, this family owned perfume house now operates in Milan. Each generation continues the Rancé family tradition of utilizing only the highest quality flowers, cultivated in the Grasse countryside, to produce extracts, distilled flower waters, cologne waters, perfumed creams, soaps and aromatherapy products. From its Milano base Rancé radiates on sixty markets around the world.

Rancé’s new perfume, Josephine by Rance 1795 is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women. The nose behind this fragrance is Jeanne  Sandra Rancé. Top notes are orris, black currant, galbanum, violet leaf, cloves and white peach; middle notes are jasmine, hiacynth and ylang-ylang; base notes are amber, sandalwood, bourbon vanilla and white musk.
