On March 19 & 20, 2014, the BtoB trade show IT Meetings in Cannes brought together some 1,000 participants who came on the Croisette to create or deepen interlinking business relationships.
IT Meetings is a business trade show dedicated to Information Technology professionals such as manufacturers, telecom operators, infrastructure providers, mobility professional and security experts. The show aims to promote one-to-one meetings between targeted top decision makers – representing a range of key business sectors – and exhibitors, through 2,000 business appointments pre-arranged prior the event. During this privileged trade crossroads, top decision makers and many visitors have thus met some 70 exhibitors in the sectors of networks, telecommunications, mobility, cloud computing, datacenter and security.
To enhance the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of work, some appoitments are scheduled at lunchtime onsite in a private restauration area hospitality suites. On the agenda of this event, some upscale plenary conferences and workshops provided delegates with very helpful insights on varied themes such as: evolution of cloud computing, datacenters, mobile apps, the WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) revolution, IT and communications security…
IT Meetings 2014 Awards
To complete the rich agenda of IT Meetings, a gala evening at the Palm Beach, preceded by a cocktail to foster networking, had delegates enjoy sights of Cannes By Night with, close by, the illuminated Lerins Island “Ile Sainte Marguerite”. The gala evening hosted the prize-giving ceremony of the IT Meetings Awards, rewarding the best technology innovation and the best projects implementing them. Two kind of prizes were presented to the winners. The first one, the IT Decision-maker Prize, awarded the best IT transformation: evolution of the business information system towards new technology models: virtualization transition, IP switchover, nomadism, datacenter, Cloud… Selection criteria focused on costs optimization, gain in productivity, ease of integration, adoption and making it easy for the users.
The second category, the Exhibitor Prize, awarded the best technology innovation; therefore, the criteria valued the innovative character, ease of implementation, helping to improve the performance of the client company, ergonomics…
