La Kermesse aux Poissons in Théoule sur Mer will delight lovers of seafood – fish, shellfish and crustaceans – from February 1 to 29, 2016.
The 19th Kermesse aux Poissons invites gourmets to taste the delicious seafood from Monday February 1st to Monday, 29, 2016. For 19 years, in February, Théoule celebrates marine flavors by organizing a unique in France Kermesse aux Poissons through eight gourmande stops, eight restaurants offering an “all fish” menu with 8 dishes.
The sea inspires the chefs in Théoule
If the beach is temporarily abandoned, shellfish and fish go golden in the kitchens of chefs participating to the Kermesse aux Poissons…
Eight talented restaurateurs, passionate about their work, are inspired by tasty sea treasures to offer dishes with Bar, Squid, Coquille St. Jacques, Bream, red Grondin, Lotte, Whiting, Ray, Sole, Turbot…
Fancying a “à la plancha” roast Octopus with Espelette Pepper, Shrimp Tartare with Avocado, Rascasse Fillet Façon Bouillabaisse, Bouchée of Shellfish and Lobster with Bisque Sauce, Saint Pierre with Tarragon Cream? Or Saint Jacques larded on its Celery Cream, or Matelotte of Lotte à la Réunionaise? All these dishes can be discovered in the Kermesse Menu.
The all fish Kermesse menu
Eight restaurants this year, including a new one, Le Moya at Miramar Tiara Yaktsa, offer every day the formula “Kermesse Menu” a 8-dish “all fish” menu, including several hot and cold appetizers and several meals, cheese and dessert at a particularly attractive price, wine and coffee included.

Marine Exhibition by the Sea Academy of Arts and Sciences
A novelty, this exhibition organized with the association “Scaphandres Recherches & Histoire”, traces the parallels between the imagination of press cartoonists of the 1900s, novelists, illustrators and the harsh reality of a helmet diver work.
Visitors can give free rein to their imagination by impregnating with period illustrations enlargements of old photos and a fine display of high quality authentic materials belonging to Jean Patrick Paszula, Master of Port La Galère, Academician of Arts and Sciences of the Sea
An original gouache by the poster drawer Mascii, made at the request of the Walt Disney Company for the needs of the film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in 1954, will be exhibited for the first time, next to the period poster.
