The Guide Gantie 2015 of best south tables and regional products was launched at a gastronomic garden party in the gardens of the Grand Hotel in Cannes.
For the release of his Guide Gantie 2015 on June 1st, Jacques Gantié offered hotel, restauration and tourism professionals a gastronomy tour inside the green oasis of the Grand Hotel gardens in Cannes, orchestrated by Sébastien Broda, the chef of the Park 45 with the help of many regional chefs and producers showcasing their delights.
Many prestigious starred chefs
On La Croisette and its sandy beaches, yet away from the bustle of the city, the gardens of the Grand Hotel in Cannes turned into a gourmet path winding its way in front of the Park 45 restaurant where Chef Sébastien Broda and the pastry chef Pascal Picasse officiate. The two chefs welcomed many local chefs, often starred, who showed their talent by inviting guests to taste their creations: Marian Gandon (Le Fouquet’s – Hôtel Majestic Barrière, Cannes), Christian Sinicropi (La Palme d’Or – Hôtel Grand Hyatt Martinez, Cannes), Arnaud Basile (Sea Sens – Five Seas Hôtel, Cannes), Bruno Oger (Villa Archange, Le Cannet), Denis Fétisson and Didier Chouteau (La Place de Mougins), Matthieu Lestrade (Le Clos Saint Basile, Mougins), Sébastien Mahuet (La Réserve de Nice), Laura (Da Laura, Cannes).
A gourmandise walk
As right out of the pages of the Guide Gantié 2015, many producers and creators of savors stalls invited to taste some refined products discoveries such as Provence wines with the Clos des Roses, Château Roubine, Château de Berne, Château Font du Broc, La Commanderie de Peyrassol or the Bellet wines with Chateau de Toasc. There were also regulars of gourmet tastings with Mic Mac Macarons, the Pains Petitfour, the Kookabarra fruit juices, Marius Auda edible flowers, Piper-Heidsieck Champagnes and many other delights, including the Mojito jelly or the Japan Art of tasting tea or sake.
Gastronomy and art of living in 800 addresses
The Guide Gantié 2015 is the gastronomic reference of nice places and “bien vivre”, highlighting cooks and chefs passionate about their profession, who believe in the power of an emotion, born from a creative and rich in flavor recipe. The guide reflects the vitality of haute cuisine in Provence Alps Côte d’Azur and Liguria-Piedmont and offers a basket of gourmet products (honey, olive oil, meats, cheeses, wines…) as well as a selection of charming hotels and quality guest houses.
The 24th edition of the Guide Gantié 2015, enriched by nearly 100 new tables, invites the gastronomes to share its discoveries of young talents, confirmed values, bistros, cafes, country inns or luxury hotels.
The Mayor of Cannes, David Lisnard, came to greet the author Jacques Gantié and leafed through the Guide Gantié 2015 in his company.
