Presented at MAPIC 2017, Mica Mall will be the largest shopping and entertainment center on Kish Island in Iran, a consumer haven.
Mica Mall is the largest shopping and entertainment center under construction on Kish Island, a tiny Iranian island located in the Persian Gulf, 1,200 kilometers south of Tehran. At 200 km from Dubai and its shopping centers, Kish Island lives to the rhythm of tourism and international trade, attracting more than 1,500,000 visitors a year.
Tourism jewel and key place of consumerism
Kish Island is lined with white-sand beaches, turquoise waters where luxury yachts and jet-skis evolve, while scuba-diving enthusiasts explore the coral reefs that thrive in the warm, crystal-clear, preserved waters of the Persian Gulf. This tourist jewel with a paradisiacal climate, dotted with comfortable hotels has become a hotbed of consumerism thanks to its state-of-the-art shopping centers since it was declared a free zone in 1987, under the Ayatollah Khomeini regime. Since the mid-1990s, the Iranian government has promoted the commercial development of Kish Island to make it a rival of Dubai and Doha.
A new event on the island
Mica Mall, which will be Kish’s largest shopping center, wishes to bring to its customers a memorable experience to visitors and families open to curiosity and innovation, qualities that this project puts forward. Currently under construction on 35,000 square meters, Mica Mall wants to be an ideal destination offering a variety of luxury brands for pleasure and recreation. With its unique shopping offer, the resort will satisfy the needs of all buyers and visitors.
Mica Mall will distinguish itself with its innovative leisure facilities such as: cable car, wind tunnel, aquarium, rainforest, ice rink, digital golf, discovery club, cinema complex, amusement center, bowling, children’s play center, food and beverage court… Most of these activities are being introduced for the first time in Kish and the region, making Mica Mall a new event on the island.
