Cannes Collection showcased from June 2 to 5, 2016 the creations of the most prestigious luxury brands on the waterfront and esplanades the Old Port of Cannes.
Cannes Collection presented on the wide quays of the Vieux Port of Cannes a selection of brands and luxury goods among the finest and most prestigious in the world, immediately available for sale or lease, gathered into a unique Salon. With a logo featuring the sun-like initials of the show beaming over the luxury world, the first edition of Cannes Collection captivated a large clientele aspiring to quality and service.
Luxury, quality and prestige in the opening of the summer season
According to fair organizer Eric de Saintdo, the magic Capital of Cinema and its world famous Croisette, frequented by stars, were the ideal setting to host Cannes Collection and its outstanding selection of luxury brands. The bay of Cannes, its palaces, casinos and luxury boutiques attract throughout the year an exclusive international clientele.
Each year, more than 2 million visitors of which over half are foreigners, are strolling on La Croisette and its Golden Square, an open air shopping gallery.
The Old Port of Cannes, one of the most beautiful ports of the Mediterranean, was hosting this new event and its exhibition of prestige cars and motorcycles, private helicopters and jets, around a superb selection of yachts, available for sea trials. Works of Art, Fine Watches, Jewelry, luxury fittings, exceptional real estate, were complementing the range of offers.

All the showcased products, whether a yacht, a luxury car or an exceptional watch, were available for purchase during the fair, to allow their new owner to enjoy it during the summer.
Cannes Collection began a few days after the closing of the Cannes Film Festival, and was held in conjunction with another prestigious event, Midem, which attracted international customer at the nearby Palais des Festivals.
A VIP restauration area, with panoramic views over the Port and the Mediterranean welcomed visitors for a gourmet stop.
Eric de Saintdo, experienced organizer
Cannes Collection was conceived and created by Eric de Saintdo, experienced organizer of major international exhibitions. The soul of the Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes for 10 years, Eric Saintdo also launched several salons for Reed Exhibitions, the world’s leading exhibition organizer.
His extensive knowledge of the international luxury industry, the yachting market, prestigious automotive and watchmaking allowed him to gather key players from the world of luxury around his innovative concept.
Opening the summer season that lends itself perfectly to exhibition and testing of outstanding products, the new show promises to be an exceptional showcase for the luxury sectors which showcase an exclusive clientele their finest productions and their latest innovations in Cannes.
