Water sports equipment such as cayaks, canoes, pedal boats, mini catamarans or small zodiacs are provided free of charge for the guests to enjoy the joys of the sea without moderation in a maritime setting of sumptuous beauties.
A rare and classified palace
The Villa Mauresque was built in 1881 as a palace for a rich Pasha on his return from Algeria. It is the work of the architect Pierre Chapoulart, famous for his villas that he scattered the Côte d’Azur from Hyères to Menton during the full wave of orientalism – The Villa Mauresque being the largest. The hotel is made up of two buildings: the Palais, resulting from the transformation of the stables and Les Jardins, the initial pavilion built to allow the ladies to enjoy the pleasures of the sea.
This mansion was later restored to its former glory, while maintaining its original oriental character. Its historical importance has earned it to be one of the few properties classified on the Côte d’Azur, which opens its doors to privileged guests in search of tranquility, comfort and five-star luxury.
An elegant and refined table feet in the water
The five stars of La Villa Mauresque enhance the five senses at the gastronomic restaurant Le Bougainvillier, where you can savor a Mediterranean and Provençal creative cuisine, following the market, based on seasonal products sublimated by the young chef Romain Bonhomme, a talented student of double starred chef Stéphane Raimbault (L’Oasis in Mandelieu).
The Gastronomic Restaurant Le Bougainvillier offers a paradisiacal view of the Mediterranean from the terrace by the sea, or from the interior through its bays opening onto the bay of Saint-Tropez.
Le Bougainvillier is open from Wednesday to Sunday for lunch from 12h30 to 14h30 and for dinner, from 19h30 to 22h00, then every day during the summer season.
