Moha at Chefs Et Gourmets Golf Event

Famous and talented Chef Moha concocted the Gala dinner fo first Club Chefs & Gourmets Golf Trophy combining sport and gastronomy at Golf de Saint Donat.

The Club Chefs & Gourmets, chaired by Jenny Guigou, Director of Publication of Fastes International Magazine, chose the Golf de Saint Donat in Grasse as a framework for its first Trophy. During an exciting competitionon a technical, green and hilly course, golf enthusiasts competed for the prestigious awards offered by partners. To close the event, a delicious Gala dinner, concocted by the famous and talented Moroccan chef Moha Fedal, delighted competitors and partners.

Dar Moha in Marrakech

Chef Moha is known internationally after his participation in Masterchef and Etoiles de Mougins. The American news channel CNN has recently released a report on his talents. After starting at La Mamounia in Marrakech, he studied at the Geneva Hotel School. Moha then remained to work in Switzerland for 10 years.
Returned to his homeland to open his own restaurant, he rediscovered theMoroccan cuisine with “dada”, women cooks, as in Morocco, the cuisine is women’s business. Moha opened his restaurant Dar Moha in a charming Riad which was Pacha Glaoui’s Secretary former residence before becoming the residence of famous fashion designer and couturier Pierre Balmain.

Couscous with Foie Gras

Now, chef Moha make discover at Dar Moha an inventive cuisine where traditional Moroccan dishes and flavors of the world come together and interact, creating a new dialogue and opening unseen culinary horizons. The Moroccan cuisine, complex and refined, is revisited by Moha to give specialties like a Couscous with Foie Gras or a Lobster Pastilla with Coriander Juice.
“When I wanted to change the Moroccan cuisine, it was like if I wanted to change the Qur’an!” Chef Moha exclaims. The chef likes to travel as ambassador of Moroccan cuisine: “My cuisine travels with me.” he says. For the Etoiles de Mougins, he created “Le Canard Mouginois with Bitter Oranges”, offering an overview of Moroccan gastronomy to many who didn’t know it.
To provide Dar Moha with vegetables and aromatic herbs, Moha has a potager, “The Bled”, near Marrakech, where he also runs Chambre d’Hôtes, whose guests can enjoy traditional Moroccan cuisine.

Prestigious partners

A significant grant of prizes awarded the winners of the Chefs et Gourmets competition in Gross, Net and the winners of the drive and approach competitions. The winners were presented with Le Creuset tagines, bottles of rosé Chateau Rasque, alcohols by Pernod Ricard and Screwpull sets.
A prize draw then allowed lucky one to win free stays for 2 people and 4 nights in Morocco as well as round trips to Corsica on Corsica Ferries.

Somptuous Gala Dinner

Moha rose to great heights to delight his guests: not less than 15 varied starters, a tagine of Chicken, Lemon Confit, Olives and Almonds, a Lamb tagine with Prunes and Apricots, a sublime Couscous and, as dessert, many fruits, a perfumed Salad of Oranges and delicious Gazelle Horn scented ice-creams made by Jean-Marie Glacier who, with the Groupe Balicco, was partner of the dinner.
At the end of the meal, a raffle still had participants win many lots of tagines and wines.
