Happy Chopard Bigaradia, Maison Chopard’s new Eau de Parfum, was lauched at TFWA-WE 2018 in Cannes, bringing a note of Joie de Vivre to the Happy Chopard luxury fragrance collection.

The Maison Chopard‘s fragrances find their inspiration in nature’s infinite beauty and richness of flavors. Happy Chopard Bigaradia is a new sensory ode to the Joie de Vivre. Drenched with the luminous and all-enveloping energy of the bitter-orange tree, Bigaradia, complements the vibrant and vivifying notes of Lemon Dulci and the exuberant, heart-filling scent of Felicia Roses, the first two Eaux de Parfum of the trilogy.

Do good, feel good

With the introduction of Happy Chopard, reflecting Chopard’s commitment embodied in The Journey to Sustainable Luxury, the Maison Chopard has engaged in a new visionary journey towards natural and responsible perfumery.
At the heart of the Happy Chopard fragrance collection is the creative vision of Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director of the Maison Chopard. Her positive approach to life has been expressed through iconic jewellery creations. With Happy Chopard, her do good, feel good philosophy and glamorous “happy-chic” lifestyle are expressed through a positive and mindful take on luxury perfumery. Happiness is a positive emotion that perfectly epitomises the mindset of the Maison Chopard.
For more than 40 years, it has imprinted its joie de vivre on its creations – Happy Diamonds, Happy Spirit, Happy Sport – free diamonds exuding happiness.

A positive and enveloping fragrance

The nose behind Happy Chopard Bigaradia is a talented young perfumer, Dora Baghriche, a woman with a sunny nature and a joyful soul, who has already composed Felicia Roses and Lemon Dulci. At the heart of her creation lies the bitter-orange tree, bigaradier in French. She daringly played with all the aspects of this exceptionally generous plant, originating from the south of Hymalaya, multiplying its facets to create a surprisingly luminous, positive and enveloping fragrance. Its signature is the combination of great naturals with unexpected notes, ingredients which – just like dancing diamonds – deliver deliciously addictive hints, unexpected crispness, or the enveloping touch of warm, ambery accents.

Addictive trail

Paying tribute to the bigaradier, a plant unique in the world of perfumery, Dora Baghriche has played with the rich, multiple nuances of its flowers, leaves, twigs and fruits. A palette of natural raw materials overlaying the fragrance of their olfactory colours which exude happiness and positive emotions.
The freshness is provided by Neroli Bigarade Petals and Orange Blossom Water, enhanced with Green Calabrian Mandarine, Petit Grain, Bitter Orange and Carrot. At the heart, an overdose of Orange Blossom Absolute is enhancing its sweet character with a touch of natural Honey from Provence, apricot and fig-milk notes. Natural Black Sesame and Patchouli, together with Labdanum, round off an addictive trail, extending the effect of a multiple orange blossom, free and happily wild…

A bottle exuding happiness

Just as she draws inspiration from Nature in designing her jewellery, Caroline Scheufele has imparted the same creative spirit and joie de vivre to the bottle itself. The latter recalls the cut of coloured stones, imbued with the warm and vibrant tones of orange recalling bigaradier. Appearing in a subtle new colour combination, its cap creates a striking contrast in sparkling pink. Entirely carved from premium glass, this prestigious flacon reflects the richness of Chopard’s jewellery creations while revealing the precious nature of the fragrance it contains.
