The Move, Mercedes-Benz new perfume, was launched by the company INCC during the TFWA-WE 2018, at a prestigious evening at the Majestic Barrière in Cannes.
The Move, the new men’s fragrance by Mercedes-Benz Parfums, debuted at TFWA-WE in a preview at the Majestic Barrière Hotel. Created by the company INCC, this fragrance with woody bouquets of fern offers a nice combination between the powerful and spicy accords of cardamom and the subtle freshness provided by the fruity notes of grapefruit and apple blossom. Dominique Ropion is the nose behind this perfume.
A highly sensual evening
As usual, Mercedes-Benz and INCC lifted the veil on their new baby with great excitement. In front of a crowd of guests, Rémy Deslandes, President of INCC, realized as usual, a lively show to present his new fragrant creation. As always, his talent, his energy, his verve, his electric blue suit matching his glasses and his unique English accent, helped to set the tone of the evening. This unmissable meeting of the TFWA-WE, not be missed under any circumstances, has revealed its glamorous and highly olfactory character. Surrounded by beautiful models, perfumed with the iconic Mercedes Benz essences, the hero of the evening entered in communion with the crowd of aficionados who came to watch the thrilling and flashy launch of The Move.

The new fragrance The Move
The Move unveils a man with many facets. At the same time dynamic, audacious and romantic, this gentleman nevertheless is keeping a part of both chic and masculine simplicity, leaving a trail rich of sensuality. This masculine fragrance opens with an aromatic note of fern that evokes the smell of soap used by yesteryear barbers. Its top notes: grapefruit, cardamom and apple blossom are an invitation to the awakening of the senses. Its heart notes: sea salt and geranium bring a refreshing feeling of well-being. Base notes: tonka bean and balsam fir tame the wild side of this mesmerizing elixir.
Dominique Ropion, the nose of The Move
Dominique Ropion, the nose of The Move, discovered perfumery by chance during a summer internship. He learned the job of perfumer at Givaudan. After a period at Florasynth (now Symrise), he joined IFF in 2000. A highly prolific perfumer, he has created and co-authored many successes suc as: Ysatis, Kenzo Jungle Elephant, Pure Poison, Burberry London, Yves Saint-Laurent‘s L’Homme, Miss Boucheron… In 2018, he publishes Aphrorismes d’un parfumeur in the collection Nez littérature.
Mercedes-Benz The Move Eau de Toilette is available in perfume shop in 60 and 100 ml bottles. In deodorant: 75 gr stick. In shower gel: 200 ml.
