The 7th edition of the Vendanges de Cannes, a chic and convivial evening under the sign of shopping and oenology was offered by the association Cannes Prestige and the Palais des Festivals.
The grape harvest is worth celebrating, and Cannes celebrates them in style and flavor. On October 2, 2014, a festival celebrated the harvest and the luxury shops of Cannes welcomed prestigious vineyards to have their privileged customers enjoy the best wines of the region.
Luxury, prestige and lifestyle
The event took place in the main shopping streets of Cannes, the Rue d’Antibes and La Croisette, which concentrate in a limited area brands in the world of luxury, from jewelry to ready to wear via gastronomy and luxury goods.
The evening, dedicated to the art of living, gathered customers from the shops of the association Cannes Prestige and that of 4 and 5-star hotels.
An evening of discoveries
Upon arrival on the red carpet laid in front of every shop, customers invited to the Vendanges de Cannes had tied around their wrist a precious sesame, a pretty red satin strap, which allowed them to move from boutiques to stores and discover the products on display and the best wines to taste.
A nice epicurean event
This fall event under the sign of oenology allows tourists customers to take the opportunity, during their stay in the Capital Cinema, to combine shopping and exceptional discovery of wines from local vineyards.
A musical evening
Privatized for the occasion, the small Cannes tourist train roamed the city with a jazz band and, throughout the evening, guests have discovered the Cinema Capital on board the famous train, touring streets from one shop involved to the other.
For tourists, the weekend in Cannes could continue the next day with the play hailed by the reviews: “The Palms of Mr. Schutz” and Saturday’s concert by Julien Doré on the legendary stage of the Grand Auditorium Louis Lumière at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.
