The Yachting Festival in Cannes, the largest in-water boat show in Europe, will present from 11 to 16 September 2018 hundreds of luxury yachts and sailing boats, jewels of the sea and yachting.
The Yachting Festival – the largest in-water boat show in Europe – will host for its 41st edition from 11 to 16 September 2018 some 600 boats in the two ports of Cannes: the Old Port and the Port Pierre Canto. Luxury yachts and sailboats, often presented as world premieres, will evolve in the sumptuous Bay of Cannes for sea trials in front of the Lérins Islands, expressing all the elegance and sweetness of life of yachting.

Cannes, international capital of yachting
For 6 days, the Yachting Festival makes of Cannes the world capital of yachting. More than 50,000 boating enthusiasts, most of them from all over the world, will discover the most beautiful boats in the world from one end to the other of La Croisette, from the Old Port to the Port Canto, accessible by shuttle bus. The largest shipyards and creators of masterpieces of the sea will offer a wide variety of designs and sizes, monohulls or multihulls, sailing boats or motor boats. All these jewels of international luxury yachting are to try on the Big Blue.

A major boat show
With, in 2017, 600 boats from 2.10 to 52 m, including some 140 yachts of more than 20 meters long, 120 sailing boats, 45 multihulls, the Yachting Festival is one of the largest boat shows in the world. At Port Pierre Canto, 40 used boats between 22m and 52m long are waiting for visitors. Thanks to the unique know-how of the shipbuilding “artisans”, these sea gems compete with modernity, design, embedded electronics and sustainable development solutions, making the range of possibilities ever wider. The best of the international motor, sailing, monohull or multihull offer has a rendez-vous at the Yachting Festival.

The Espace Riviera at the Palais des Festivals brings together the refinement and innovation brands in the Luxury Gallery, in a magical world of luxury, craft and lifestyle houses, offering the ultimate in quality in yachting, will present their know-how and their novelties. The Concours d’Élégance Nautique
In honor of the rich maritime history, the fourth edition of the Concours d’Élégance Nautique will allow to admire in the Old Port of Cannes a rare show of vintage boats, motor boats and day boats. A parade of maritime elegance of twenty “vintage” and contemporary boats, driven by owners or collectors of motorboats and day boats of less than 12 meters, will appreciate the design and restoration of the boat, the scarcity and the history of the boat and the elegance of its crew. Many awards, given by the partners of the Yachting Festival, will distinguish winners and “Elégantes”.

Luxury yachting goes green
Beyond the notions of comfort and performance, the respect for the planet, the preservation of the seas and oceans and the desire to leave a reduced ecological footprint are gaining importance in the luxury yachting sector where shipbuilders compete for technological innovation. The world of yachting relies more and more on green energies or reductions in energy consumption thanks to new hulls with more hydrodynamic shapes, the gradual transition of foils from the world of ocean racing to that of yachting and the development of more fuel-efficient engines. This green, eco-responsible trend will be very visible at the Yachting Festival 2018.

Unique experience with the Riviera Card
The Riviera Card is an exclusive program for visitors who desire a high-end service through a unique and personalized experience. Riviera Card holders will enjoy luxury services, such as a Yachting Festival tour aboard an organization tender to discover the finest yachts from the sea, as well as priority access to the exhibited yachts. The Riviera card is a personal card for two people valid during the six days of the Festival, priced at € 1,122. A one-day VIP card at € 220 is also available.
