Les Etoiles de Mougins offered a garden party in the sumptuous gardens of the Grand Hotel in Cannes as an appetizer offered by the chefs of the region.
Mayor of Mougins Richard Galy, Vice President of the Community of Agglomeration of Pays de Lérins, fervent ambassador of lifestyle, invited journalists and personalities in the gardens of Park 45 at the Grand Hotel in Cannes to present the 9th edition of now famous Etoiles de Mougins, Festival of Gastronomy.
Gastronomy and Art de Vivre
Located between Cannes, the capital of Cinema, and Grasse, the Perfume capital, Mougins is now the capital of Gastronomy and Art de Vivre with the Etoiles de Mougins which enjoy an international reputation and exports in several countries.
Under the sign of Pastry
For its 9th edition, Etoiles de Mougins are giving the place of honor to Dessert. From September 19 to 21 next, under the aegis of Christelle Brua, sacred Pastry Chef of the Year by Gault et Millau, more than 100 heads, including a large part of the pastry elite will gather in Mougins for a sweet Festival.
80 chefs involved
On the Croisette, Richard Galy has evoked the chefs who contributed to the gastronomic renown of Mougins, like Roger Vergé from Le Moulins de Mougins and thanked the 80 chefs from the region, present or partners, who, by their commitment, contribute to the success of the event.
Cooking shows by prestigious chefs
In the spirit of Etoiles de Mougins, cooking shows and tastings delighted the audience. They were realized by chefs Sébastien Broda (Le Park 45), Patrick Raingeard (La Table de Patrick Raingeard – Cap Estel, Eze), Arnaud Tabarec (Sea Sens-Five Hôtel, Cannes), David and Noëlle Faure (Aphrodite, Nice), Gabriel Degenne (Château de la Bégude, Opio), Davis Chauvac (Le Mas Candille, Mougins), and pastry chefs Pascal Picasse (Le Park 45), Bruno Laffargue (Mic Mac macaron, Cagnes-sur-Mer), Christian Cottard (Pâtisserie Cottard, Antibes), Matthieu Marchand (Le Mas Candille) et Guillaume Sinden (La Réserve de Nice).
During guest were tasting the gastronomic delights and fine wines of alcohols, Christophe Boutes, boulanger manager of La Mouginoise des Pains demonstrated his talents of singer.
The evening was organized by the Tourist Office of Mougins in partnership with Metro (which shwocased its new Premium line dedicated to gastronomic restaurants), Champagne Piper-Hiedsieck, Nestlé Waters and La Mouginoise des Pains.
