The fifth edition of the Terroir et Gastronomie Fair, organized by the Rotary Club in Hyères, will take place from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 February, 2015 in Hyères.
Throughout the gourmet weekend, the savory Terroir et Gastronomie fair at the Espace 3000 in Hyères, the City of Palm Trees, will feature regional local products and flavors: meats, wines, honey, cheese, cakes and various appealing regional specialities. Famous chefs from the Var will promote the local gastronomy through culinary demonstrations.
Exciting animations
As every year, the Var chefs will take turns during the three days to offer cooking demonstrations and workshops for children around the chocolate. The Maison des Vins de Côte de Provence wines also offer tastings to the public.
Famous culinary authors, such as Gui Gedda and Alain Biles, will present and sign their books through which you can discover the unique, delicious and authentic Provençal cuisine.
The workshops for children around the chocolate, on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, will be hosted by Christophe Chapalain from La Maison Dominique in Hyères and Denis Matyasy, founder of the Terroir et Gastronomie show.
Tasting local specialties
At Terroir et Gastronomie, over 80 exhibitors, winemakers, producers of the terroir and artisans from all over France, all driven by the passion for taste, quality product and sharing, will showcase their expertise.
An eating area, run by Jo Vally and Carthier Traiteur, will enable the visitors to taste the delicious local specialties.
On the forefront of Espace 3000, the Veggy Van will introduce you to its organic and vegetarian food-truck concept.
Program of activities
The benefits of the show will be donated by the Rotary Club of Hyères-Les-Palmiers to local solidarity actions.
