The tenth edition of Pain, Amour et Chocolat will roll out the red carpet in February for all lovers of delights and delicacies on the picturesque Port Vauban in Antibes.
Pain, Amour et Chocolat, whose popularity is constantly rising since its creation in 2007 (more than 20,000 visitors are expected this year), continues to surf on the growing public passion for the excellence of products and the charm of handmade creations.
From February 12 to 14 and February 18 to 21, the 10th edition maintains the principles behind its success: a moment of conviviality and sharing in a place where tradition and creativity come together to showcase quality craft productions.
A romantic rendezvous
This rendezvous gourmand in the kingdom of the famous Antibes painter Peynet, will take place in the beautiful setting of the Port Vauban, during the weekends of February 12 to 14 and 18 to 21 February. It is jointly organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Nice, Sophia Antipolis, Côte d’Azur and the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of the Alpes-Maritimes. Pain, Amour et Chocolat will bring together the best Italian, French and foreign producers who will showcase, during your wanderings among the many stands, their talent, their knowledge and their creativity through quality products with incomparable flavors.
Craftsmanship in the spotlight
Pain, Amour et Chocolat, the show with sweet fragrance of love, will delight lovers looking for unique gifts for Valentine’s Day loke fashion accessories, fancy jewelry, lace lingerie for Madame, objects of decoration for the home… The gourmets can discover the talent and creativity of French and Italian master bakers and buy their craft products. Whether young or adults, the visitor’s taste buds will never cease to vibrate during tastings offered by the producers presenting their exceptional products, their chocolate delights, their sweets and cakes.
Many activities for young and old
As every year, the show will also offer many activities for gourmets, lovers and children: show cooking, drawing and makeup workshops for the smallest, pastry contest for neophytes, screenings of Italian films, guided visits to the Peynet Museum, demonstrations, tastings, competitions with many stays in Italy to win.
Official Opening on February 13
The official opening of the show will be held on Saturday, February 13 à 12h in the presence of Jean Leonetti, MP – Mayor of Antibes Juan-Les-Pins, Serena Lippi, Consul General of Italy in Nice, Patrizia Dalmasso and Gérard Louis Bosio, President and 1st Vice President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce as well as Jean-Pierre Galvez, President of the Nice Chamber of Trades.
